Vandy doesn’t appear to be a sure thing. We have to come to play. Hope they are taking it seriously.
Two numbers I like about the matchup is
- Vandy QB Curtis: He didn't play against UGA, but in the 3 SEC games he played against Aub, Ole Miss & Ark...5 INTs
- I like the potential of winning the TO battle if he is continues in his generosity by throwing to our safeties
- Vandy rushing defense... against SEC opponents has given up over 4.5 yards per rush to every opponent
Do I assume correctly that we'd get in over 8-1 OM because they lost to FL & we would have beaten them (only common opponent with a different outcome)?
One day our 3rd down issues on both sides of the ball will bite us. Glad to hear Stein mention that issue yesterday . Saturday would be a great time to start to get those problems ironed out.
Don’t forget Stoops troops said Stoops was the best we could do.
A lot of fans were Stockholmed into that belief. Stein cured the fanbase.
If UK wins by 12 I’d say they did a good job. Vandy is going to be a tough team. They are well coached and throttled UK last year so they are going to feel they can win this game!
I feel like UK's turnover margin is not getting the press it deserves. Forcing turnovers and not turning the ball over are at the top of why Kentucky has won the games it has.
The very top. To this point they're just not making stupid mistakes like turnovers or untimely penalties.
