Our paths will definitely cross I think.I do expect West Craven to win out and move possiblity to 4 seed in the east.
If West Stokes is seated in the West, they are truly stronger than their record would indicate. I promise you that. I would pull for West Iredell and favor them but West Stokes at full strength is just plain good. (Just for clarification, I am a 3-A Mt Airy Granite bear supporter). Some may disagree with me but only 4 teams have a chance to come out of the West. Cramer, Burns, West Iredell & Hibriten. No disrespect to Tuscola at all, but it'll be one of those 4.... I'll bet on it. East Duplin, Reidsville & Clinton come out of the East..... Correct me if I'm wrong.....
Forgot there is a lot of rumblings about Andrews too.
The restaurant???Only team in the way of Shelby is Shelby. We just need to play ball and stay available for Friday’s
Looks like one of those east teams seems to get in the way pretty often.Top 5 in 4A max preps are west teams, next 4 are east teams.
Just want the chance to play them.Looks like one of those east teams seems to get in the way pretty often.
Yall have a good chance to be in the way again.Looks like one of those east teams seems to get in the way pretty often.
I hope you get a chance too. Hope somebody in the west gets a chance.Just want the chance to play them.
TouchéI hope you get a chance too. Hope somebody in the west gets a chance.
Just a poll. That one doesn't matter. See how everything plays out in the end.Looks like they have East Duplin a little too far down the list. I believe I’d have them at 4th.
Its just one guy that said that though....

Im just messing with yall. Rams were preseason favorites. Injuries set yall back, but yall are right back in the mix now.And he was kidding.

I say do at most 5-6 team conferences which gives you 4-5 conference games and let teams be able to schedule the other 5-6 games as they want.I really think they need to go to region play. Bad teams can play each other and not be automatic drags on rpi
I like the idea but it would never fly. Too many teams would be left without games. Who is going to play HT? Travel would become an issue.I say do at most 5-6 team conferences which gives you 4-5 conference games and let teams be able to schedule the other 5-6 games as they want.
Highland is gonna kill us this week and there's absolutely ZERO reason we should be playing them
Or just do away with conferences all together and let teams make their own schedules....
How about allow teams to drop the lowest rpi team in their schedule from their calculation.I say do at most 5-6 team conferences which gives you 4-5 conference games and let teams be able to schedule the other 5-6 games as they want.

I bet Draughn, Patton, West Caldwell, North Gaston, North Iredell, would like to play Highland Tech.I like the idea but it would never fly. Too many teams would be left without games. Who is going to play HT? Travel would become an issue.
I like that idea too. Like how you used to be able to drop a game when we were allowed to play 11 games but only reported 10 for playoff seedingHow about allow teams to drop the lowest rpi team in their schedule from their calculation.
Drop Highland Tech and Cherryville / BC from our conference and let us have 2 more non-conference games.I like that idea too. Like how you used to be able to drop a game when we were allowed to play 11 games but only reported 10 for playoff seeding
How about in 3 years when they look at everyone’s enrollment and reevaluate everyone, a new 4A/5A conference with Burns, Crest, East Gaston, Forestview, North Gaston, Hunter Huss, South Point, Stuart Cramer? Hopefully FV and HH get it rolling, and NG and EG improve some. Would be a very good football/baseball/basketball conference. Based off of last year, would have a State Champion in Football, Basketball, and a baseball team that lost in the state championship series and a few others that made it to the final 4 in their divisions.Drop Highland Tech and Cherryville / BC from our conference and let us have 2 more non-conference games.
Who all would be anticipated to be 4A in this? Only one potential issue. Burns current Freshman class is only around 130 according to what I was told during orientation this year. It is not looking like it is getting any larger seeing that the youth football leagues had to merge. In no way would it surprise me if Burns dropped to 3A next realignment. It would also be interesting to see how Shelby's numbers line up. It would be crazy if we swapped. How about in 3 years when they look at everyone’s enrollment and reevaluate everyone, a new 4A/5A conference with Burns, Crest, East Gaston, Forestview, North Gaston, Hunter Huss, South Point, Stuart Cramer? Your right Cramer might move back to 5A when that happens. Also EG could be very close to 5A.Who all would be anticipated to be 4A in this? Just Burns and East Gaston?
I was just throwing some things out there for fun. I firmly believe Cramer will move back to 5A in the next realignment, and maybe EG too. So much growth in the eastern part of Gaston County. Logistics are terrible over here for the amount of houses being built.Only one potential issue. Parallel that with the rpi this year and give it a look.I like that idea too. Like how you used to be able to drop a game when we were allowed to play 11 games but only reported 10 for playoff seeding
Somebody much smarter than me would have to run those numbersParallel that with the rpi this year and give it a look.
RPI strikes again. Thomasville scored 28 points in less than seven minutes in the first quarter in a game that was called in the first quarter. Dropped two spots from 5th to 7th. Our conference is killing us as far as seeding.
