I don't see how he is eligible. He redshirted in 21/22. That's his 5th year. So he can't fall under the 5 in 5 lawsuits.

That's not really the problem (for instance, Kepnang was in Brandon Boston's class. It's the 5 in 5 rule and trying to squeeze in a redshirt year to make it 6 in 5.

He’s apparently been enrolled just waiting for eligibility papers and a spot to clear. They had someone who is hurt get ruled out for year opening a spot I read.

Absolutely. Rolling the dice on one makes sense but 3 can really trash the season if they are ruled ineligible. Self is probably close to hanging it up so he probably is ok with that scenario and the upside is maybe a FF on his way out the door.

his cousin is a freshman on the women's team. makes sense that he ends up there. even if he's not eligible, still has family and can be there for her as she adjusts. that family is full of ball players, Matt Renn was a dog at Indiana State years ago.
The Big 12 issued this statement back in the summer. Wonder if they’ll stick to their guns?

That won’t happen until the day after they drag their nuts back and forth over Popes face for 2 hours and win by 30+.
I fully expect this to be a payback game for the 2015 game.
