That was the pre season quote. Looks like you found a way coach. Winning is not important obviously. I mean "globally"
Lawsuit against whom? The coaching Staff? The kid's doctor? The team doctor? What I can’t get past is the fact that our 2nd string QB had open heart surgery in the last year. I’m no doctor, but on the surface, that sounds down right crazy. Football isn’t ping pong or darts. Wonder if that’s why they insist on not playing him.
Even if they put him in, in this litigious world we live in, I can’t get past the fact that this would be a major law suit waiting to happen.
This Program just seems like we’ve totally fvcked it up now from top to bottom it’s almost comical.
Let's see. I am a Big Ten coach at a blue blood program for my first year. I am making 8 million per. I have a rabid fan base that turns out 100K for a game and my family is trying to acclimate to a new college town and football setting. I am relatively young and ambitious or I wouldn't be here. I have a boss (AD) that is under enormous pressure as well. I have a coaching staff whose own personal fortunes and career path depend on me and my success. I have 100+ players who are competitive by nature and work very hard to win and maybe get a shot at a professional career. But I don't' value winning? Please. That was the pre season quote. We need to understand that the portal door swings both ways. Money is needed to keep and acquire. There needs to be $$$ to go get some players next year. We have a couple of difference makers at WR....none at RB that we have seen. Our DBs our good and we have 1 LB. Need to restock DL, LB, OL, RB, QB.............. The "brand new" stadium will start to look like Univ. of Washington in another year or two with the lack of excitement generated by another year of this type of football.
Kentucky, Indiana put money on the table and changed there course immediately. We can get the money, we still have a brand that can sell......go and get some Jimmy and Joes.........
The good news is that there are not a ton of talent to keep.....We need to understand that the portal door swings both ways. Money is needed to keep and acquire.
I'd love to be Kobe Howard's agent right about now.The good news is that there are not a ton of talent to keep.....![]()
You would think that what they have seen in games would compel them to make the switch,We can only guess that what is shown in practice has not compelled the coach to make the switch.

True...which should tell you how practice is goingYou would think that what they have seen in games would compel them to make the switch,
Except he forgot to script the plays needed for goal-to-go success. That's been a major pox on his record this season.Mouser needs to go back to high school coaching. After his scripted plays on the first series, we reverted back to the same old nonsense.
I am sure koby howard has a lot of talent and could be a star, but its disturbing that a guy who has had two good games against minor league teams is the number one priority for penn state to keep....🫟
I remember last year's highest priority was chaz coleman. He might be available cheep right now...I am sure koby howard has a lot of talent and could be a star, but its disturbing that a guy who has had two good games against minor league teams is the number one priority for penn state to keep....
Manske played in all 3 games to start the season. He was obviously cleared to play. And the doctors dont care if he would be going against a high school team or the 85 Bears. He was cleared. He is dressed every game so he isnt hurt.Lawsuit against whom? The coaching Staff? The kid's doctor? The team doctor?
I am sure, if he is practicing without limits, that he has been cleared to play. I doubt the surgery history has anything to do with the back up QB not playing. We can only guess that what is shown in practice has not compelled the coach to make the switch.
Seems like #2 is a #2 for a reason. "You don't want to see Manske."

so who is lying?"We're not going to be able to keep him off the field this year," Campbell said. "He's forced us to have to play him. He's been really good, especially going through what he did."
Campbell confirmed Mouser's sentiment that he would play Saturday.
"Alex has deserved the right to be able to get on the field," Campbell said.
