To be fair to Pope he just absolutely sucks at coaching.
Nobody compares well to Will 'Big Balls' Stein.
“Don’t compare coaches!”
We kinda have to when Stein is winning SEC games against teams with much larger NIL budgets when Pope has a top 5 NIL budget and getting blown out to teams with budgets a fraction of ours.
Pope is spending too much money for mediocre results.

Watching Stein coach and recruit is like watching freaking Beethoven play the piano.
Watching Pope coach and recruit is like getting your teeth pulled out with pliers and no anesthesia.
I absolutely hate bringing hoops bs into enjoying fb‘s success. Get lost.

I hate having to watch Pope recruit, "coach", talk, but here we are.
The basketball season is getting closer and closer while the elephant in the room (Will Stein’s balls) becomes bigger and bigger. We have to ask ourselves why we settle for mediocrity when the football team doesn’t?
Go back to your closet, let us enjoy the game(s).
Unreal. Im watching Notre Dame, and I think Stein is better than Freeman.
Steve Young had a good point.. Stein isnt gking anywhere else in college.. hes going pro. Lets hope we can keep him for at least another year or two.

I’m really hoping BYU doesn’t choke. I hate ND
If they don't get rid of him after this season, give the basketball team's NIL to the football team next season.
Actually they need to. 75/15/5If they don't get rid of him after this season, give the basketball team's NIL to the football team next season.
The job Stein is doing with the history of KY football and the lower NIL budget compared to the teams he playing is incredible. By contrast Pope has been given one of the top budgets in all of basketball the last two years so that Mitch doesn't look stupid foe hiring him and we all see the difference between the two.
But don’t bring your personal hoops issues to FB threads. Why is that hard?
This. Pope will give you some good wins but some bad losses. I say we go all out for football to see what we can do. Pope isn’t winning anything that matters. If they don't get rid of him after this season, give the basketball team's NIL to the football team next season.
Dumbest Pope bashing thread ever OP. You can do better.
Oh great , another ****-on-pope thread
, great job mods

Translation: you have no rebuttal the actual facts of the argument?
Get bent, ******. Pope is trash and screw basketball. Football school time.Oh great , another ****-on-pope thread
Don’t even mind that basketball only fans dumbass reply. Pope is trash and he’s too busy watching loser basketball to know.
What a f'n loser. Take an unbelievable time to be a football fan and use it to trash bball. Just enjoy life a little if that's possible.
Trash Pope and bball once they actually play a game this season. We just beat OU in Norman and this is what you care about?
Again, you're a f'n loser.

This was referring to first year at UK coaches only. That doesn’t apply in 1977 and 1950
You have become truly pitiful. Your obsession with Pope cannot let you enjoy any good moments.
Other than posting in large and larger fonts, has Saul ever enjoyed anything on this board?
The guy made one little comment big deal
