I am so glad Rice remembered who they were late in the first half... I thought we were going to have to break out the "save the coach's job red uniforms" again!

In the third quarter the camera panned a shot of the crowd. In a section with maybe 20 people they focused of 2 young men likely in their early 20s but about 5 rows behind them was a kid maybe 10 years old with a women next to him (probably his Mom). Most ten year olds would be focused on the game or mugging for the camera. This kid was reading a book. It just hit me as such a Rice fans kid thing to do.

Regardless of whether we come out of Army with a win, at least we get 15 days to recover from injuries. I don't know how serious East's injury is, but hopefully Adams and Pond can perform at a level that can replace him until he comes back. They did alright today. Should get Erb back next week or at least for the Tulane game. Antai is doing well filling in for him. Would be nice if our OL and DL were all back by Tulane. I really don't have a very good feeling that Green ever intends to play for us again at CB, but hopefully I'm reading to much into Lambs reports on him.
