There it is. Our “experienced“ QB makes a horrible throw into double coverage. Picked. Then um runs through our defense untouched for a TD. Jesus.
Don’t worry - $2m trash can Rocco Becht won’t let that happen. Maybe Campbell can burn all 3 timeouts on the next series and throw three deep outs to double covered and not looking for the ball Brett Eskildson.
Its my daughter's 21st birthday (PSU student). She may have her first..."I need a drink to keep watching this" moment.
Good Lord what a putrid throw and decision. Not only threw into double coverage, but if the one scUM d-back didn't intercept it, the other would have. PSU receiver had no chance on a late badly underthrown ball. He threw it the one place his guy had no shot at it - woefully short! If you throw that ball at all, it has to be over-the-top and toward the sideline. Just a brutally awful pass that probably ended the game the way this offense and run-defense play.
This is why it’s so frustrating in the first quarter of these games when they’re driving, and then go back to Hansen runs killing drives, and settle for 3. This should be a 7-7 game
When have you ever seen an inexperienced opposing backup quarterback come into a PSU game and not have a career day?
Becht's actually played well (thanks to Sowell) other than the pick
imagine if we took the money we gave to Becht, hanson, Eskildson and brahmer and gave it to our offensive guys who left. It couldn’t be worse than this. Other than Sowell - these ISU guys are all complete trash.
If most of us on this board can predict it, there is a significant issue with play calling.
Okay after that pick it's time to make a QB move like Michigan did
Becht has all day in the pocket and makes an absolutely horrendous throw. He sucks.
And he continues to play well (eye roll).
