I honestly don’t know why you feel so strongly about this. Nothing I saw in that half makes me doubt that he beat him out.

If this was true, the guy would be playing. Just because he has experienced other places doesn't mean he's as good as a fit in this offense. It is what it is.

The defense we are seeing here is why I was so passionately, angry about bringing Arnett back. It's only decent when your offense is scoring on every possession. It's not a big play defense, they don't get off the field, they play way too conservative in coverage. It was like this when he was here before too. It's the wrong kind of defense for what this team needs. Before someone brings up talent, yeah, we need more talent. But this is also a philosophical problem with our coaching.

I do t know why he’s not playing. But it’s not because Puckett is a better option.

Yeah. That was a lazy misguided stupid hire. You just don’t bring back the guys you fired after 2 years.

I play with my head and not my heart. At least I try to. Took LSU and under. Didn’t see us scoring. Hope I lose both in all honestly.

And what weird is that wasn’t it sold as an aggressive defense when he was hired initially?
