74 kg Marcu MDA beat Geo 7-4 which eliminates Wagin. Marcu is in the 1/4 waiting for James
Marcu is decent but James should be a big favorite. Marcu competes a ton. He has been wrestling at the senior level as well but only has average results. No idea what happened to Wagin. I wonder if he has trouble making 74kg?

Injury or weight he's a shell of himself

Easy work for James. He was much more controlled that match. I thought his opponent was going to choke him out in the front headlock though!
I think his opponent was considerably stronger, and Jayden couldn’t move him much with his underhook at all. But he eventually figured it out.

Reminder Jayden is a first year U20 .... you can see older opponents are stronger than him right now. You saw it at Seniors domestically as well. But he's so technically and instinctively gifted (not to mention quick) he overcomes it and even dominates.

Once his grown man strength comes in ....

Sinclair in a tight one. I was worried about this match. I thought he would pull it off but it’s not looking good. Mihalcean is damn good and looks huge. I think Sinclair has a good shot to get pulled back in to repechage. Mihalcean probably has Begenjov (Past U20 champ) who hasn’t looked great lately and then maybe Yagan. Yagan beat Iran first round

I agree. When he gets more built for 74kg. It's going to be hard to beat him

Yep I remember his 3-2 match with Trent and knew that would be a tough one

Mihalcean is darn athletic. His body awareness is off the charts.
