These days its an apology tweet. And I really wanted them to get one. But, sadly, the conference will not comment on judgment calls.

Back to my Monday lunch with sidewalk Bama fans - "we" heard that the SEC was suspending the ref team. I don't think that ever came to pass.

Do folks still sit around bragging or complaining about wins and losses, in real life? I guess in my mind, a lot of that went out the window for me with NIL/portal/money. Since it's become obvious that the players and programs no longer represent fans, I guess I've decoupled that 'fanboy' stuff.

Yes, they absolutely do, at least in the case of the Bama fans that I know. The same smug attitude is still there. NIL hasn't changed a thing, possibly because reality hasn't set in yet.
