Players, coaches honor Northwestern's one and only 'Papa D', Doug Collins
WildcatReport talked to Doug Collins, Chris Collins, Brian James and more in this oral history of Doug Collins's impact on Northwestern basketball ahead of the celebratory exhibition against Illinois State on Oct. 18.
I am really proud of this project ahead of Northwestern basketball's exhibition against Illinois State. I conducted interviews with Doug Collins, Chris Collins, and Brian James, and we got stories sent in from former players like Bryant McIntosh, Brooks Barnhizer, Nick Martinelli and Scottie Lindsey (who is getting married on Friday!) about Doug Collins's basketball life and his impact on Northwestern that led to this exhibition at Illinois State being scheduled.
And as always a huge thank you to @lou v for his contributing reporting and editing.
