First off, I want Beamer to succeed and the UF win gives him some breathing room. That said, he needs to refrain from calling every naysayer out too. He still has a lot of work left this season and should be focused on that. Whipping UF was great but let's not pretend like we "should be 5-1" because we clearly aren't-we're 3-3. Shane claims to know "what he signed up for" and if he really does then he should realize that losing 8 straight SEC games will get you fired at many SEC schools in year 5/6. And the pundits and fans who he loves to call out are justified in their criticism too. Also, no fan should be making a negative comment about Shane's daughter's senior year photo but let's not exaggerate like that represents many or any Carolina fan in general either. All in all, Shane needs to have the team focused on the schedule ahead and realize the job is not complete and the endless praise that he so much covets is not yet warranted.

The new Kentucky coach just beat us and LSU in OT. Beamer is in year 5. He needs to win games, plain and simple. It’s not rocket science. Another 4-8 season and his job should rightly be in jeopardy.

Shane is a thin skinned man who appears to have some emotional issues. Instead of always bristling about "naysayers", he should be focusing on improving the results on the field to quiet the naysayers.

He needs to lay off the "knows what he signed up for" talk, This is his team, has been for three years now. He can't play the "I inherited a mess" card anymore.

That game should not be a new lease. I still don’t think it matters with the powers that be because I don’t believe he was ever going to be let go this year.

It was a fantastic win. But I look at it just like the first game against Kent State. They played much better than expected, gave us something to enjoy for an afternoon. But what does it actually mean regarding what/who this team is; since they quickly returned to bad football for the most part. There’s no answer on that.

Also Florida is a fraud. They fooled everyone with that Ole Miss win. Just like with SC their first few games were games an SEC team is supposed to win. I think both the Gators and Gamecocks got more losses than wins coming. I will hope to be wrong on the latter.

I still say 6-6. Arkansas, aTm and OU are all very winnable games and Clemson has not been impressive at all. Win 3 of those 4 and we are 6-6.
