North Rowan is the sleeper in the 2A West. This should be a very good Match up to watch. Any thoughts?

Yes, I started same thread on 3A/4A thread and said the same thing. If my Comets play there A game should win by 14+. North Rowan does have a good passing game though that my Comets are not used to. Could be interesting. But Norths Stanlys team speed is Crazy this year.Go Comets!!

Yep, speed right out of the playoffs in the 3rd round
They always have speed and size. Once you get into the 2nd round and beyond all the teams are solid and the speed factor is typically deleted by good coaching and solid defensive play (tackling). NR should have won a state title or two before now with all the athletes and size they have had in the past. I think around 2012 in 1A, they had 2-3 D1 players on the roster and didn't make it thru the playoffs. North Stanly won but yall gave me a scare in the 2nd half. Alford is a good QB and those receivers are good to. He was throwing bombs like you said and I am like how in the did the receiver catch that lol. Good game and glad we won though..lol
