Yeah, they’re stable until 2030/31 when at least four, maybe six of their best teams will be headed for the door. That’s when UCONN will get into a diminished ACC.

I'm not sure there will be any place for them to go. Power conference expansion is pretty much, if not totally, done. There's not really anyone left that would move the needle for the SEC or the Big Ten in terms of revenue. Florida State and Clemson have lost much of the luster they once had; only Miami is a big enough football brand in the ACC to appeal to either conference.

The next seismic shift will be the superconference, where 28-32 top brands or so will consolidate and cast the parasites aside.

The PCSA *IF* it passes will cap conference membership at 20. That’s what these schools‘ house members are lobbying to overturn so that there will be room for the 4-6 ACC teams that want to leave. By having the conference membership cap, the bill implicitly says there will be no super conference.

There is some counter intuitive thinking starting to circulate, that is, the P2 start shrinking their membership when their next media deals are up in 2030/31, getting rid of the dead wood or parasites as you say.

It won't pass, and if it does, it will not be with that as part of it.

That part seems like an illegal restraint of trade.
