I do think they should let opposing players get off field before storming. That’s trouble!

If you rush the field and get in the opponent's face, you deserve what you get.

Meh. Anyone who rushes the field and approaches an opposing player is assuming this risk. The fan deserves no sympathy.

UK should’ve anticipated this might happen with a win. Fans are going to do dumb things. Players are not in a good mood after a loss. That’s not a good combination.

This is one of those times I say let nature sort it out.
I’m pretty sure when you buy the ticket you agree to not be on the field or playing area at any point

I think the fan was the one lacking class. Agree to disagree I guess. At least he didn’t try to overthrow the government like the January 6th domestic terrorists, so I’ll give him some grace.

Both protests were ridiculous and got completely out of hand. But at least the Floyd protest was about something that really happened. The 1/6 protest was about something completely imaginary.
It’s all in good fun. College kids drunk and long suffering fans finally have a big win. Good times and happy memories. I don’t think the Ohio States of the world should ever do it, but a program like ours I can see it. Especially a fun win like that against a highly ranked and prestigious football program like LSU.
I do think court storming is a concern because its alot of people piling into a confined space. Field storming has way more room, the fans are much further back and the players are wearing what amounts to body armor.
Also, any fan taunting an opposing football player on the field gets whatever is coming to them. Football players are monstrously huge people and are wearing pads and helmets to protect them from several car accident level impacts per game. So if you want to taunt them, i don't want to hear any complaints when they give out what is deserved.

it wasn’t just college kids who were drunk. That was by far the most s**t faced crowd I’ve ever seen at Commonwealth. I’ve been to 150+, maybe close to 200 games. There is no close second drunkest crowd. It was kind of wild to watch.
