Update on this theme to include yesterdays games.

#15 Kentucky SOS 8.47

#14 Tennessee SOS 0.63

#13 Missouri SOS 3.38

#12 UCLA SOS 4.80 I'll give them the edge since they are undefeated

#11 Utah SOS -3.42 Though undefeated their schedule is so weak UK has a case to be ahead of them imo

#10 Texas Tech SOS 0.10 undefeated and better schedule than Utah but weak enough UK may still have a case to be ahead of them imo

#9 Ole Miss SOS 3.88

#8 BYU SOS 0.57 undefeated but much weaker schedule than UK

no debate about #7 Texas #6 Alabama or #5 Indiana imo

#4 Ohio St SOS 4.02 They lost a close one to Texas where as the Alabama game got out of hand is the only real advantage about their resume.

#3 Miami SOS -1.20 undefeated but schedule is weaker than BYU

Imo Kentucky has a very strong case to be top ten and the resume stacks up pretty well with a team ranked as high as #4 Ohio St. and even #3 Miami who is undefeated but has played a very weak schedule.

Of course we do. I’ve said since last game we would be top 10 maybe higher with any power program as the face. It’s ridiculous. What more does UK need to do to be top 10? And no I don’t believe we’d move 5 spots in we won at Oklahoma. Nope.

2 AP voters didn’t even rank us this week and left us out of the top 25. Incredible.
I saw one of those guys didn’t have Miami in his top 25 in either week 4 or 5. More of an oversight rather than an omission but still that’s pretty bad. Had wake Forest and northwestern in his top 25 over UK. Just cant beat stupid.

We should be ahead of UT. We have better wins, the only thing they could be looking at is their loss to texas isnt by as much as ours to bama
It could be but there is a large gap in our SOS rating over Tenn. They will get their Alabama beatdown this coming week. Beyond that UK and LSU look to be the toughest opponents left on their schedule and they play both at home.

Having BYU, Texas Tech, and Utah ranked ahead of us is ridiculous. AP has them ranked solely on being undefeated and most voters probably don’t watch enough football or do enough research to factor in sos. Playoff rankings are all that matter and hopefully the committee takes into account conference strength as they said.
