Precisely. USC QB had time to order a ham sandwich and decide which receiver to play catch with on those plays.

I was fully supportive of Campbell's hire - we falsely assumed that he was a seasoned coach and that BGJ bad habits would not surface again. Both offensive and defensive hires have done an absolutely horrific job of coaching these kids to play up to our standard. Not to mention how dumb our coaching staff has approached these games.

Lynn is not the answer, regardless of who he puts out there. His lack of good in-game adjustments and stupid schemes tell me he's not the guy.

Mouse continues to run up the middle for 2 yards on first down. I think I counted about 15 first down runs with little to no gain. Neither of these guys are not ready for a program like ours and I stupidly thought they would step up to the challenge. How many of us have been screaming at the TV when they run up the middle seemingly every first down and get almost nothing?

Everyone speaks about NIL money but just look around at UCLA, Illinois, Purdue, Minnesota and Iowa. I would guess that those programs have half of the NIL money we have, but the product on the field is completely different. Our lack of success is directly because of the staff Campbell has put together.

Sadly, it seems this team and staff has taken the personality of their coach, and he often looks checked out when they show him on the screen. I know he's not going to get canned this year, but I think he's realistically got one more year to show major improvement considering the insane investment in football on the West side of Beaver.

  5. We were hoping this OL would bed good with Donkoh, Cousins, & Goodman. Riker & Buhr were question marks but this team struggled to run against weak teams. Only 68 yds rushing tonight.
  6. Becht had decent stats but he badly missed some open throws.
  7. Brahmer is overrated. He's a poor blocker but supposedly a good big target as a receiver. He had 1 catch for 4 yds.
  8. Eskildsen might be fast but he's soft. He doesn't catch the ball in traffic and had a huge fumble on PSU's last drive.
  9. Granville was a huge loss. Like I said Bacon isn't a DE.
  10. I had hope for Ebel. I was wrong.
  11. Cooper got beat repeatedly. He's a senior and had good rankings. Big disappointment.
  12. Joseph got beat badly too but at least he's a freshman and can improve.
  13. Zayas should have dislodged a pass in the red zone but he's also too soft. I'll cut him some slack since he's also a freshman.
  14. ZERO TDs in the second half wasn't going to cut it.

4. The running game is a mess because the OL is a bit of a mess.
5. OL not good.
6. Beckt is what he is great at times then falls off at other times. He has almost no supporting cast. Could be more than adequate but can't be on this team at this level.

8. He's a level over his head.
9. Agreed.
10. Ebel same, over his head at this level.
11. Yep
12. Yep he's young.
13. Tep also young.
14. Yep.

15. It's going to be a long stressful year. 6-6 at best.
