Now they're ranked #2 ......(completely not legit at all - they play no one) and the Gameday crew is now going to BYU for the "big" game.... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

It's a joke. It's an absolute joke. Drop Noodle Lame in the SEC and force them to play a 9 game SEC schedule and they'd be 5-4 or 6-3 at best. AT BEST!!!!

They are the most fraudulent team in college football history, far surpassing Clemson.

It’s the same record on repeat each season: artificially inflated pre-season ranking, wins against no one, moving up in the polls only because other blue bloods are beating up on one another. Then, when they finally do drop a game, they only move down a few spots to remain in the top 10.

As of now I think Norte Dame will beat Miami when they play seven November. Historically, Norte Dame has been overrated but I think they finally found a coach in Marcus Freeman that has a decent defense and does enough on the offensive side of the ball to win. I do agree with others though that they should play in a conference instead of playing a half conference ACC schedule (five to six games a season) and half independent schedule.

We see a similar circumstance with Bama and Ohio State. Even the clemmers used to get that treatment a few years back.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that Notre Dame always seems to be at least in the Top 10 by default, regardless of performance. With their have their path paved to the N/C as smoothly as possible.

They should be forced to join a conference in all sports. I can`t think of any team ever in any sport getting comparable preferential treatment as they have for years. They have been masters of manipulating everyone apparently. If the CFP expands they don`t need to cowtow to them, should say they will be ineligible if they aren`t in a conference full time.

To be fair, they used to actually play a difficult schedule until they started the weird ACC scheduling plan. They typically had 4-5 ranked games throughout the year and scheduled teams that were historically above average. Now, its insane that they get consideration off a two game schedule.
