Nope. That was '76. I was thinking "Songs in the Key of Life" by Stevie Wonder but that released in late '76.
Some other great albums that came out 50 years ago:
“Fly Like An Eagle”- Steve Miller Band
“Night Moves”- Bob Seger & Silver Bullet Band
“Silk Degrees” - Boz Scaggs.

I'm sorry somebody strong armed you into opening this thread.
Unpopular opinion. Eddie Murphy ruined Stevie Wonder by impersonating him and then later actually releasing a song as a singer…although he wasn’t mimicking Wonder in his novelty song.
Sir Duke is a great song that is often forgotten about.
Saw them twice during this time period. Once at the Capital in Passaic with Dan Fogelberg and again at Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City with Poco and Seals and Crofts
Told this story before. Before the JC show a bunch of us got a five gallon cooler and made a giant tequila sunrise. Brought it up to the gate and the ticket taker asked what it was and we told him. He just waved us in. Now you can't be trusted with a water bottle top.
Different time, different world.
