Hurt Bama and made a difference in the game

The SEC has to protect UGA at all costs at this point.

Yeah, that was pretty bad. And amazingly hard to miss if you were watching. Guess the ref wasn't.

And after bailing out Georgia on a 3rd and 22 with PI they let even worse go against Alabama. If these games are truly rigged then why waste my time watching?

gamecox4982 · Sunday at 10:59 AM

Coaches should be able to use their challenge flag for any call or non call..

Rob Hawk · Sunday at 1:07 PM

If you stayed up and watched the game you got to see DeBoer go ballistic on the sidelines after no PI call.

RL09 · Sunday at 2:19 PM

he had a right to go ballistic, that was an absolutely horrendous no call, he clearly ran into the Alabama receiver, took him out of the play. I was stunned that was not called interference. Seeing officiating such as that does make one wonder if they were indeed protecting Georgia.

I felt for Bama on that one. Think they took a sack the next play and then were facing 3rd and long out of fg range after that. There’s gotta start being some accountability in some form for these officials.

Piscis · Sunday at 4:22 PM

Bama having a tough time adjusting to the officials not gifting them calls and no calls.

If Russell doesn't take the sack on the next play, Bama kicks a pretty easy fg and ties the game.

PrestonyteParrot · Sunday at 7:54 PM

GA defender has his back to the ball and goes straight for the receiver with a two-handed push to the chest.
Couldn't have been more text book PI.

For egregious game changing calls, absolutely. I honestly would love for them to make public the calls the coaches turned in and later admitted they missed.

And Sankey continues to do nothing!

I don't see where their wellbeing is any more precious to the SEC than that of Alabama. Who has the greater legacy? Certainly Georgia isn't clearly the better team.

Make it reviewable.

Why is this surprising? It happens every week. It also happened in our game when Harper was obviously pulled back by Florida's CB.
The magnitude of the game doesn't make these refs any more qualified.

Not sure why, but officials are a protected class. Not only in the SEC, but all conferences and leagues!
Major screw ups do not cost you your job unlike the the real world.

Harvard Gamecock · Monday at 8:19 AM

That was as blatant as a PI could be.
Incredulous that there was no call.
