You’ve got a lot of work in front of ya…wonder how many of these deserve a bumpBump
Yes i want heck over archPeople love to overreact on this site. After Ohio St we were going to be 7-5 st best according to many people. And Wisconsin, NW, and Minnesota were all great teams and going to beat us. Now we destroy Washington, our o line dominated, Minnesota is getting their asses handed to them by Purdue of all people. Oh, and we also have people saying they’d take Hecklinski over Arch Manning.![]()
So, you missed the first game where he had almost two hundred yards in the FIRST half? Middle of game 2 he gets the injury and he's been banged up since. He's been dealing with that shoulder thing for a couple of years off and on.To me it seemed like this is the first game he had some moves and shed tackles. If this continues, I am converted to a fan of his.
Because they "could not agree on the color of Shite"!There are so many football experts on this board. And all the KF name-calling on the game thread because the score was suddenly 27-10. I just wonder why they don’t become coaches themselves.
I think he's had more than enough opportunities to show something, unfortunately he doesn't seem to have the spark or the extra gear in space.
Agree 100% on the Phillips / Jackson combo
What I remember from the first game is holes big enough to drive a car thru when Hank was QB. Moulton didn't shed many tackles, there were just open lanes to run thru. So, you missed the first game where he had almost two hundred yards in the FIRST half? I totally agree. And to be fair, other schools’ fans are the same way. Over the years, I’ve been on many Hawkeye boards. I see more over reaction here than on other boards I’ve been on. Also, complaining about the refs.People love to overreact on this site. After Ohio St we were going to be 7-5 st best according to many people. Moulton had 26 carries and LJ 10 and there were two other runs. That is a good ratio and it could be a even 23 to 13 type of ratio. If the holes are there we have a lot of RBs that are very good. Yes, Moulton and LJ are 1 and 2.Moulton is RB1, period. I love Jackson, and I think Phillips is a little badass, but Moulton is just a bruiser back and he has the it factor for me. Moulton is a stud and just gets better as the game goes on.
Moulton had plenty of moves in the other two games where the OLine and blockers blew nice sized holes in the defenseTo me it seemed like this is the first game he had some moves and shed tackles. If this continues, I am converted to a fan of his.
Repent you sinner. He showed a lot on the 58 yard TD run and hopeful he’s turned a leaf and will be more consistent. I’d rather he be successful and me be wrong because I do think he’s a good teammate and obviously the more success he has the Hawks will also have.
