Recruiting Visit last night:

Good post.

I don’t know what Driver is thinking. He could just love OU and Venebles. We all should have been cheering for Texas to thump the Sooners. That would have really been good for the recruitment. Beating No.1 Texas was big for the OU coach.

That said, without consideration to Driver, I love that OU won that game. It was a great day for CFB.

Driver is going to be a freshman not playing all that much next year. Honestly, we should be able to get a far more experienced and proven college player for next year. If Driver shows much at OU, we try to snag him in the portal. If he's a bust, we don't and save the money for someone else.

Not only that, but THE story of college football of the last two weeks were these back-to-back gutsy 2-pt calls to win the game, and both not only worked, but Stein looked like he was coaching circles around Lane and company. The plays looked easy.

Our recruiting is about to sky rocket. Stein has to be the hottest coaching name right now, right? Not the best, not the most proven.. but he is turning heads to the point of severe neck trauma.

I really feel like we got a Ben Johnson-type. A guy who just feels like hes sort of playing an entirely different sport. Obviously we need to see more than 2 games, but it just feels like something big.

I guess im not the only one saying it lol. Im not worried about other college teams taking Stein.. im worried about the NFL taking him

After Baxter’s big first run, our run plays didn’t look easy at all to me - till the very last one.

Driver wants to go to Oklahoma because of their TE coach Jason Witten. I mean they are coming off a playoff appearance last year. It’s not that crazy an elite recruit wants to go there. I’d love to see him in Lexington
