I’ve seen people say Stoops would have taken the field goal and we’d be up 7. Don’t worry he also would have taken the field goal before half and it would only be 23-20 right now, so it evens out

See people, he knows when to kick a field goal. He trusted his guys on an analytically correct play earlier and it didn’t work. Sh- happens

Stein was expecting LSU to have about 3 more touchdowns and figured a FG was worthless. I'm sure he would love to have it back now. But props to Cats defense.

Stoops would have said screw analytics and kicked the field goal and we would be up 7 now instead of 4.

RunninRichie · Saturday at 8:57 PM

Will Stein is winning a chess match against Lane Kifffin. It’s his 6th game as a HC.

BigBluefoot · Saturday at 8:57 PM

Neither here nor there, but if we kick the fg earlier we are up 7.

I wonder if Baxter is injured. Seems like he's been ineffective since he came up limping.

I don’t think so. I think he’s getting hit at the line of scrimmage by multiple guys now. They have a really good run defense

d be up seven if he took the first one. You take points at home. Always.

ala_kat2 · Saturday at 8:57 PM

LSU has pretty much bottled up our inside running game. Maybe Patterson around end?

Stoops would have never been in this game, much less leading in the 4th.

bbnkat02 · Saturday at 8:58 PM

Now get a stop. And a TD and the fat lady gets a notice.

meteordealer · Saturday at 8:58 PM

That decision not to kick a fg is gonna come back to haunt us.

Maybe but in that scenario UK would be 23-10, no way Stoops gives up 20 points to this azz QB LSU has.

He wouldn’t have went for the touchdown at the end of the 2nd quarter and kicked instead so you’d be up 3

Drogon · Saturday at 8:59 PM

They've crushed us on 2nd down. Bring more pressure

bbnkat02 · Saturday at 8:59 PM

They’re killing us with that.

Anon1751521769 · Saturday at 8:59 PM

OldScratchBlues · Saturday at 9:01 PM
