One thing Beamer staffs seem to have a problem with is figuring out who our good players are early in the season. I wanna see more Mo Brown and D. Murph. Jabree Coleman looks really good as well, but you can’t complain about him not getting as much time when Fuller is doing his thing (we have a real good 1-2 at RB).

Lex Cyrus too. When he gets on the field he makes plays.

I think it depends on how well they practice, since we are national practice champions.

My question is how many players in any sport practice like they play in a real game? When I was playing sports, practice didn't mean much other than assignments, but when we played against someone else it was wide open.

Black could have made a dive on that deep ball to at least get close. Our deep routes were ugly for the most.
Cyrus might be a good deep threat option. I like Darden also- he chewed up a FLA receiver on one tackle toward the end- need to get him PT before he gets tapped to start. I dont think there will be many more mop up opportunities before the end of the year. I like the two young DB's getting PT- they are big and athletic. just dont know where to be too often

I played for Dick Sheridan; our practices definitely were not like that my friend. Practice like you play, play like you practice.

Morrison had Sharpe on the bench his first year. Holtz had Pinkins and Jenkins at qb. Spurrier had Tommy Beecher. What’s his name that transferred to Auburn and lit it up was a total non factor here. Situations and circumstances.

I realize that is a mantra especially at the college level, but a lot of players have another gear when it's gametime. I didn't play college, but I have kids who did. I watched a lot of their practices and all of their games/matches/meets. There was a difference.
