Oregon, Rock Falls, Du-Pec is definitely the same level of competition as the CCL
apparently it helped them get ready for Montini twice and IC last year.
When was the last time any of those programs won state? Sincere question.
Byron's schedule is crap. IC's worst opponent is probably better than Byron's best.
Byron plays like a CCL team regardless of their schedule.
Arguably the best player in Byron history is playing in the Big 10 and a generational QB didn’t play this year. My theory is the BNC is as weak as ever and these 2 teams are not on the same planet. Can’t wait for the playoffs.
Bowen is the best player on the field as a junior. Insane talent
Byron's top player is not even playing this year even though he has 2 or 3 state titles. He opted to concentrate on baseball instead. But even without him they are very good.
Yes that happens in the 4th Q especially when a 3a team plays a 8a team.
Depth matters.
