Koch and combs were asked who made biggest jumps over summer. Koch answered Jirac, Combs said Howard. Mac also mentioned Howard's improved shot...I interpreted as his 3 ball.

Another interesting nugget, McKeever is a true 7' 3" with shoes off. 300# and 5% body fat. He said, McKeever will create a lot of gravity in the lane. Is a great passer and fearless rebounder
funny, i was mocked recently here for stating McKeever's measurables noted here.
Saw the interview with Greg Gard (wis) and he said they have brought in more size to go with their returning bigs(winter).
Said the league is bigger than ever.
Looking at you McKeever/ jirak.

"Fearless rebounders" are among my favorites. Can't wait to see McKeever help the Hawkeyes destroy Illinois and lots of others.
He is the second tallest player in the BIG, I assume Purdue has the tallest player.
Those two are who we needed to improve the most as well. Howard is very athletic, but needed to tighten up his handle and improve his outside shot. The season was long enough ago that I don't remember his bball IQ.
Jirak needed to improve his strength and mobility.
Both players have a lot of potential.
i believe he's tied for the 2nd tallest player in BigTen history behind Zach Edey?
Tied with Aday Mara and Symon Ghai (Northwestern freshman this season)
Purdue's Jacobsen is listed at 7'4. Leave it to them to always "One-up" the rest of the league.
I was told by another poster that McKeever would be more of a "presence" in the paint and a passer, as opposed to being a shot block threat.
