The 2026 U23 World Championships will take place on October 12 through October 18, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Please use this thread for all pre-tournament, in-tournament, and post-tournament discussion of this event.

MFS contestants with a PSU/NLWC connection are:

57 kg - Luke Lilledahl
74 kg - Jayden James

U23 World Wrestling Championships 2026 will see more than 600 wrestlers in action in Las Vegas, United States from October 12 to 18.

Harutyunyan at 57 is a surprise with worlds a few weeks away. I was thinking he would skip u23 and if he went it would be 61 .
65 kg no on is ranked top 20 in the world on Flo besides Bassett
I haven't looked at the other weights yet . @zzs006 you doing a preview?

I’m definitely not doing a full one. I’ll probably try and do something for the PSU guys at least though

USAW has made a concerted effort to field a better team.

In 2019, Bo Nickal was the only US free medalist and they took 10th as a team. In 2021 Cassiopi won it and Aiello took Bronze on the way to a 7th place finish. A career backup at Iowa, Myles Wilson, was on the team.

2025 had multiple National Champions on the team as the US cruised to a team win.
