Much easier since I retired, but traffic is still an issue. Have to say that working was really quite inconvenient.

9 home games at 6 or 6.30.

My wife and I were just talking about whether we should go to this game.

For an 11 am Saturday start, we'd need to take an 8:45 train out of New Brunswick, getting to Brooklyn and hour and a half later. That means I need to leave my house about 8 am.

After the game, assuming the game ends at 1:30, we'd get back to the New Brunswick station at 3:45, and home about 4:15-4:30.

That's an 8.5 hour day to watch 2.5 hours of basketball. It sounds like a grueling day of travel.

Unless the team is incredibly hot, or Rutgers has some great events planned around the game (at reasonable cost ... And maybe including bus transportation), it looks like we'll be watching this game on TV.
