got an A here https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ranking-all-32-nfl-coaches-nflpa-report-cards/

top 6 here https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25440991-power-ranking-nfls-top-10-head-coaches, found this note interesting..
Sirianni has to be the only coach in the top 10 who is seemingly perpetually on the hot seat.

my point is I think Howie gets way too much credit for the job he does. If he had known what he was doing , he never would have drafted Hurts, knowing that would throw his MVP caliber QB into a funk.
Ok, I'll give you a few top 10 rankings (not to 5). The first 3 search results I found had him 9-15, which sounds about right.
I posted 6 sources that rate HR #1 and 1 source at #8 all time.

You have yet to prove my statement wrong - Howie is better at his job than Nick. That is the statement you initially responded to.
If either of them have to go, it's Nick and not Howie.

He's literally one of, if not the best GMs in the league. He essentially built the most formidable OL in a decade. And then brought in Barkley to run behind them. He routinely works magic with draft capital, somehow ending up with better/more draft picks then he started with. He has fleeced numerous other GMs in trades. He drafted Carson Wentz, who essentially got the Eagles the #1 seed in 2017. When Wentz went into the tank, he traded him and turned it into Jalen Carter, AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, and Cooper DeJean. Speaking of 2017, almost all of his FA moves ended up being gold and a huge reason they won the SB.

Dougie P a Nick are both middling coaches that were gifted incredible rosters. And both had huge flops after super bowl appearances. I used to think Howie was not that great, but he has consistently proven me wrong since he came back into power in 2016.
And “better than” does not equal perfect. But Roseman has a very high hit rate in a league where that’s rare.

Let’s not forget the Eagles D gave up back to back TD drives of 97 and 80 yards. When things mattered most, they were dominated.

I’d have taken the FG too, but it ultimately didn’t matter. The Rams easily scored the 2 TDs they needed to win and the offense continued to be league-worst.
Listen to Joyner’s comments at the 3:20 mark. He is spot on.

Completely disagree. Getting the obvious out of the way, an extra 3 points would have still lost the game.

So, his assertion is that the Rams were able to drive the field twice for a TD because they had the old elusive "momentum"? Sorry, but I don't buy it. Momentum is fragile and not as impactful as people believe. It would have only taken 1 Eagles sack to completely change momentum back in their favor. The notion that the 4th down failure so demoralized the Eagles team that they gave up 2 TD drives is hyperbolic. I would blame fatigue more than demoralization.

Also, kicking the FG now gives the Rams the ball on their 35 instead of their own 2 yard line, with much more flexibility in play calling. Giving the Rams 33 extra yards to get the 2 TD they needed was much more valuable than "momentum".

The Eagles defense was tired and the Rams offense clearly has the ability to get downfield fast, as they have shown in the past. It was somewhat miraculous that the Eagles were even winning. I think Nick understood this and knew the Eagles had to try to win the game with a TD right there and then (and he was right). Going for it on 4th down did not lose the game for the Eagles - it was the right call.

I do like Seth's other points about taking penalties and the poor 3rd down conversion rate. Those were much more impactful and can be attributed to poor coaching.
