Stock up on Old Bardstown Bottled-in-Bond (Willett) now before collectors read Food & Wine Magazine; currently priced around $26.00.




Haven't had much of a taste for liquor lately, mostly wine if I have anything. But with fall coming, may need to get a bottle of this for some evenings by the fire....

Thanks! Was just thinking about shopping for a reasonably priced bourbon for Thanksgiving.

Okay, went to my favorite store in DC - they were doing a Macallan tasting - and they had the six year aged Bardstown that retails for around $50. I snagged one. Looks like this. Asked about the Old Bardstown and owner said they were getting some in. DC is like the Wild West when it comes to liquor stores…

Just spent $250+ last weekend at the state store and brought home a bottle of Blantons, Elijah Craig, Four Roses and Weller. Don't get upset, but I have not had Four Roses, lol. I have tried ALOT of bourbon, but Roses has seemed to be able to allude me. Until now. Cant wait to try it Saturday night paired with a La Gloria Cubana serie R Maduro or with one of my JM Boswell Pipes with Boswell Honey Roast tobacco.

The 4R single barrel has come down to $40 regularly here in Chicago. Deserves a spot in the rotation. I got some Bib & Tucker Double Char on close out at the local chain. Love it.

I will keep that in mind the next time I visit a store. I also feel like Wild Turkey is under valued. It is one of my favorites.

Four Roses is solid (will add that is an awesome day at the store you had).

Was shopping at Party Marty in Louisville last year . The staffer said Old Bardstown is insanely good for the money . Bought a few bottles in addition to some others you can’t get in PA. OB is a great buy .

I'll second this. Costco carries it pretty regularly and it was always a buy for me when I frequented bourbon.
