No offense to Cutter and I am rooting for him, but his decision making and turnovers were just not something you'd fork over big money for.
Yep, Minchey is the exact opposite of that.
Well, in Cutter's defense, he didn't get much coaching his first two years in college and developed a lot of bad habits.
Boley is like the perfect dessert but someone accidentally mixed up the sugar with salt. Had a lot of amazing traits but the few bad ones keeps him from being a high level qb. It was best for him and UK for him to leave the SEC.
I’m with you…. Not gonna hate on the young man, but I’m happy with who we have as QB.
Actually glad he left, we wouldn’t have gotten Minchey, and we would have overpaid for Cutter. It worked out well for all groups.
Like Boley and wish him well...but Stein knew what he was doing and we got the better end of the deal.
He got way too overhyped on this board. Minchey is infinitely better.

That might be the dumbest thing a QB can do. I assume he was trying to throw it out of bounds but his noodle arm said no sir.
WTF? I guess he was trying to throw it out of bounds …since there was nobody but a Baylor player over there …yet didn’t even get it remotely close.
Imagine trying to explain that play to your coach when you get to the sideline.
I wish him success, but I am glad he is gone. He just was not good enough for this year. he may develop, because he has some good raw tools, but we needed someone ready to play now in a high powered offense. Cutter just was not that guy so he was sent packing. Stein knows what he is doing...
I bet Stein was happy when he transferred if he didn’t straight up give him the suggestion to do so. Knock on wood but our QB has 1(ONE) interception. That’s just amazing. Keep that number low and good things can happen.
Not gonna hate on him. He made a decision that got him paid more than we were comfortable with. He just needs to play and dedicate himself to getting better. Money sometimes gets in the way of a players hunger. He has the tools, he’s at a place that can develop those tools but he’s gotta want it and work for it. All that being said, I like my quarterback. Kenny Minchey fits this offense. He’s calm, cool and collected. Some guy had him the 9th best quarterback in the SEC. That’s fine with me. These next 3 games will help continue to define this season. Win 2 of them and we are 6-2 headed to Knoxville. The rope is getting shorter on Chumlee down there. He might be ready to go home to Oklahoma.
