Then they just would have lost 24-23 instead of 24-20. 0-12 on 3rd down=a gassed defense. Needed the TD to be up 3 scores. A functional offense at the goal line would help.

Mirrors PSU against WISKY. o_O . It feels like there have been similarities between PSU and the Iggles the past couple of seasons.

before they blow up the roster, they will fire Nick. No way Howie and GL are wrong.
Nick has demonstrated time and again that he can’t dictate a functional offense without a real star OC. And that’s with outrageous talent.

You may be right that he’s the easy first target. That’s an easier attempted fix than a roster loaded with expensive dead years.

I find that the Eagles often mirror Penn State. It's weird.
Agreed. PSU lost a close game to Wisconsin that it should have won, same as Eagles today. And Eagles got blown out in Chicago, just like PSU Friday night.

If Hurts hadn't messed up the handoff to Bigsby on the 3-yard line, he probably scores and the Eagles win the game. The hole was there.
