You heard it here first...

Prediction: I think it'll be co-offensive players of the week: Himon and Komolafe

That said, Jeremiah Smith wasn't too shabby either.
Smith is from another planet. What he did against a very stout Iowa defense is unreal.

Curious, why didn't we use Sawchuk as much in this game? I was really impressed with him earlier in the season. Is it more of a personnel thing with the Chip Kelly Wing-T based formations? I'm not familiar with what makes a good running back in this scheme.

That is a good question. Perhaps he didn't practice well in the wing-T this week.

He was in and out, but the other 2 were on fire 🔥.

He'll get his moments, he's a tackle breaker.

It may have had something to do with him fumbling early on. Now whether Chiles was more to blame for that, I am not sure.

There is only one football. :D And he did get his touches; Komo usually gets the most, and Sawchuk and Himon splits the rest.

Komolafe 25-188, 7.5 avg, 1 TD
Himon 10-162, 16.2 avg, 2 TD
Sawchuk 8-27, 3.4 avg, 0 TD (and 1 fumble)

When Komo and Himon are putting up video game numbers, you want to keep feeding them the ball. Sawchuk will keep getting touches.
