Honestly, Do You See Us Winning Another Game?

With Beamer as our coach, and this loser coaching staff he has assembled, I do not see another win this season except Arkansas. By the time we roll into the Tater game our players will be so demoralized that the Taters might score 60 points on us.

Beamer is in so far over his head that I actually feel sorry for him. He is smarter than you think. He managed to get a head coaching job in the SEC as a TE coach with no experience. He turned one good season into a $27 million payday with his buyout. He played Tanner like a fool. He will never have to work again, and he should never work as a coach again after this debacle.

Tanner is cashing those $1 million checks every year while all of our men’s sports suck. Beamer will be relaxing on a beach somewhere drinking tropical drinks while we all pay his buyout for years to come.

I say this with all the sincerity in the world -- I sure hope we don't win another game.

Beamer and every coach except Briles and the OL coach need to be fired. - Losing every game the rest of the way will force that exact scenario.

It is what it is. Losing every game from here on out will be the equivalent of "Leave no doubt." - I don't want there to be even the tiniest glimmer of hope. Not one. Beamer and crew must go. There is no other way. Sellers needs to go. Several secondary players need to go.

NO. We don’t expect or know how to win.

Imagine if we finish with 2 wins this year and Beamer keeps his job for another year because Tanner gave him a $27 million buyout. This would probably be unprecedented in all of coaching history.

Then imagine the crap team Beamer puts together for next year after all of this. Nobody would want to coach or play for Beamer. And Tanner would still be working here for $1 million a year…

Yes... with an "if" in front of the reasons.

If, the O can clean up the drive-killing unforced errors and execute a bit more precisely.

If, the D can find some guys to consistently cover opposing receivers.

There are obviously other areas that need improvement, but they could have a 4-1 record right now if these hadn't been so prominent this season.

But, if nothing changes, why would one expect the results to change?

That would be the epitome of the chicken curse.

I'd put the rb coach in the keep group.

Problem is OK and Ark are on the road. Not liking our chances. Taters might be our best bet to win but who knows if we've checked out by then... assuming Beamer is still here.

QB change?

They won't know unless they try it, but the way I heard Todd praising Sellers and Shane not disagreeing with him, I have to wonder if that's being considered. I'd be really surprised if they did it next week considering they'll be in the swamp with a POed UF team. Might be a bit much to expect from a freshman making his first start ever... could be setting him up for failure and get into his head. Maybe bring him in if Sellers continues to hiccup at the worst possible times?

This isn't just on one guy, but Sellers isn't winning any games for us like he did 2 yrs ago. UK did not have a great defense & looks like Sellers had the worst stats v UK of any QB they've faced so far. And this was a home game with fan support.
As you know, sometimes you stop the other guy from scoring pts by playing good offense.

If they don't work something the next 2 weeks, they're sticking with Sellers to the end.

One of the reasons Spurrier liked having Lattimore and went away from his pass-happy approach was because the other team had limited opportunities if you have the ball for long stretches (but it's not like this is some secret I'm sharing).

The triple option teams bleed out opponents with that strategy.

Eh.....ok. I guess. Although to me, it looks like Augustave (?) is the more physical of our backs. He doesn't shy away from contact. He's impressed me every time he touches the ball. To be fair, Fuller is not bad. Or, whatever his name is. The #1 guy. One thing is for sure, #21 sure isn't the answer. We put him in and he promptly fumbled. 7 pts for KY.

Arkansas, OU and Clemson are winnable. Clemson looks god awful against Miami.
Clemson's defense is formidable. Will have to not turn the ball against them. Our secondary is so bad that I look for Mateer to have a breakout game against us. The only game that I would put money on for us to win is Arkansas.

Realistically, this team can't be fixed with a few practices. Beamer will likely be out coach this year with the buyout. Sellers will likely be our quarterback barring a (won't even say it), secondary will still be bad. What are the chances the 74 yard run reminds Sellers of who he is and what he can do. Maybe he'll realize his limitations even though the coaches don't and play to his strengths. Nothing wrong with dropping back to run.

I don't know how or why anyone can look at our team and think any game is winnable. We find ways to lose.

We led UK at home 17-0 and lost.
Not only that, but after tonight, our team 100% quits on the coaches. Literally no reason to put in any effort with our current coaching hierarchy

Mateer will look like a Heisman candidate against this defense.

Steve also had to come to terms that his running offense was ineffective and needed something fresh.
I will always have great respect for him for fusing his F'n'G offense with the zone running game. Stoke of genius.

Maybe 1-2 games. This team is unable to finish games and with being in a downward spiral with every media outlet talking about your coach on the hot seat, QB and WR not playing their best. Secondary absent in every SEC game. This team needs someone to step up and elevate their play or else the embarrassment is going to get worse.
