Hard to remember for sure but I don't think I deserve credit as the one who coined that moniker in the first place but I've used it to warn others about who it is so he (you) doesn't get the interaction he so desperately craves. The "hall monitor" schtick was used frequently by Dandy Andy's previous incarnations as well. In addition he has always been known for posting very late since he works overnight.
