Guys I am afraid Jon Sumrall is awakening a sleeping giant at Florida. They stomped Ole Miss 52 to 28 today.

You really believe the stuff you spew. It’s funny. Dudes a star in the coaching game and no matter tech or Florida he’s on the stein trajectory. That’s a fact. Also what coaching tree you are tied to matters a lot too which is why it didn’t really matter tech or Florida for him. He’s tied to Kirby.

Evidently UK didn't either, according to some. He was let go also. So don't downplay the Cat's victories. I never understand "UK fans" downplaying any victories, but here lately on this board it happens a lot, in both BB and FB.

I think it is done to support certain agendas, or to troll, but a fan should never downplay their teams victories.
I’m not downplaying anything stien has done . I will downplay pope completely different things

No, you were downplaying UK's victory over Florida last year because they "didn't have a coach". Why downplay it at all? At least that is how I took it, could be me, if so, apology.

Not downplaying it completely but they haven’t been the Florida we all know that beat us for 31 years in a row . I liked and appreciated stoops for what he did but he had the better team the last few seasons and that’s saying something about Florida

I guess I just grow weary of how people will put a caveat on just about any victory anymore if it will further their agenda post. Both football and basketball there is always someone downplaying a win. Everybody was pumped about the A&M win, now there are those who want to say that A&M isn't that good...so what? It was a victory over a ranked SEC team on the road, we don't have many of those in our history (modern).

And it is worse with basketball, "fans" finding reasons why sweeping Tennessee, beating Duke etc. isn't all that for "X" reason. Another example is those who were guaranteeing Pitino and St. John's would beat UK by double digits...then well, St. John's isn't that good. Why not just enjoy the victories? Why put a caveat on them?

It is exhausting.

Texas A&M was a good win and A&M can still be a good team . They played lsu. They still have 8 more games left . Pope had 12 losses and 14 losses the expectations are way different. Not including falling begins double digits every game and then losing to Gonzaga by 40 .

The SEC is always going to have great coaches and programs will rise and fall depending on whether or not they have one of those great ones. I just want UK to be one of the schools with a great coach and I think we have one for the first time in a very long time.

I think it’s way too early to say whether stein or sunerall are great coaches. Good start, but do that again the rest of this year and next year.

Folks y’all can have two John Sumralls and Brad Whites…

I’ll take offensive play caller Will Stein all day everyday…

The rumors of JS’s and Chomp Heads rise have largely been exaggerated.

Will Stein is about to make some noise and not just in the SEC.
