Looks like this week's Alaska Mojo Moose Sightings Were on target for a win in the first game to be played in the new Ryan Field.

As one of my professors would begin each lecture saying, "Every day is a good day, but some days are better than others," so was today one of those better days.

Prefacing the Wildcats' win, the sun shined brightly on the fall colors and freshly fallen snow here in Alaska as pictured from just hours before kickoff:

SURPRISE SNOW STUNS EAGLE RIVER ALASKA JUST AS FALL'S COLORS POP TODAY, FRIDAY

The hills and mountains above Eagle River Alaska, located between downtown Anchorage and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley were struck by a surprise early October snow as recorded on this second day of the month.
Contrasted with the glistening new snow is Alaska’s blazing fall foliage as also captured in this video.

The video is accompanied by eclipsing music.
