Northwestern is pretty solid this year. I watched them dismantle Colorado a couple weeks ago and thought so then. With that said, this might be the softest, weakest psu team I can remember. Their run defense is pathetic. They look awful.
Most models do. FPI is still mostly bias even at the end of the year.
PSU looked like the came in off the lake on the Edmund Fitzgerald.
I always think of that clown screaming "you think your so f***ing smart" across the field at Brian Ferentz during an Iowa game.
Matt Campbell signed an eight-year, $70.5 million fully guaranteed contract to become the head football coach at Penn State.
He's being paid $8 million this year.

Usually it's Penn St. that takes boyhoo... nevermind.
Usually it is Penn St. Coaches that are pushing... nevermind.
NW will be tough at home. Murderers schedule coming up though. Oregon, Iowa and OSU all in a row
I don’t think we play NW until Nov…
Yep, I just edited that. Oregon last week in Oct and then Iowa and OSU
Wait til Iowa goes there in a few weeks, it'll be 'Kinnick East'
Just make sure they don't even f***ing come close to a 1/5 of that against Iowa, and they can rush for as many yards as their tiny little purple kitty hearts want to against PSU.................
Btw, this was the easiest bet of the weekend, for those that thought "well maybe the blue blood rallies the troops"
No.
Northwestern was winning this game.
If you want a rallying the troops game, go watch Michigan-Minnesota..............

Yup, buyers remorse...
The meltdown on the PSU board is ...entertaining.

good news is that maybe wi hasn’t taken a big step forward but bad news is that nw may be turning into effing indiana before our eyes
Horsemouth Clowndouche thought he’d leave Iowa Hate and go all Caels Anderson in Happy Valley.
Not happening.
Not happening.
People said that Campbell was PSU's 5th or 6th choice for head coach. Yikes.
I think WI took a small step forward, PSU is hot garbage, and NW has taken a nice step forward. Fully expect New Ryan field to be Kinnick East for the Iowa game and for that game to be a dog fight. They aren't running for 400, but their QB will give us some problems, he's pretty damn good
I wonder if Campbell will even get a chance to recruit for next year once his iast players leave. Or if he will be run out of town. I'd guess he will get at least one more year. But if I were him, I wouldn't worry too much. If they let him go, just retire and keep getting paid for the next 7 years. Get a villa in the Caribbean and send your kids to an elite prep school In New York. No problem.
After watching the game , I wonder if it is time to retire Kinnick? NW has a nice stadium.
Absolutely if you get a donor to throw a BILLION + dollars our way. Ryan cost 850 million for a pint sized stadium. The Chiefs new stadium will supposedly cost 3 BILLION! On top of which Kinnick is iconic like Wrigley field, so NO.
The old Big10 West has been beating up the East last week and last night. Let's hope that trend continues today.
He prob does. I bet he gets a least 3. They can’t be looking what they’re seeing
