I’m not coming from a position of anger. I get why we’re seeing this shitshow this year. I’m saying this offseason. I’m hoping Campbell puts a priority on bringing in talent. Good guys that try hard but can’t catch a Northwestern running back won’t cut it. He needs to be buying recruits that can make an immediate impact and portal guys that can do the same.

Great in game coaching is sure making a difference.
He plays the most important position and has done so more than any other person currently in CFB. Does his performance look like that?
He may have been a bad hire. Not ready to conclude that yet but off to a horrible start. Plus we apparently have no talent, athleticism or physicality on defense. But besides that we are fine.

Welp. A bunch of us did say there was a distinct possibility we’d get blown out this week. At least there weren’t a ton of people stupidly insisting, “No way, man! You’re just a doomer! A hater! We’re gonna bounce back this and run the table!”
This might be the worst team in the history of this program. Last week, I thought this was shaping to be a 5-7 season, but those that were saying 3-9 are looking like they might be right.

#5 & # 6 combined for 350 yards on 35 carries. 10 yards a carry over 35 rushes!!
Rushed for 48 yards on 22 carries. 2.2 yards per carry.
Offensive and defensive lines are horrible
I've lost track of how many years in a row this is where "the offensive line should be the strength of the team"
Again, someone with a strong football mind, please explain to me why the starting quarterback cannot be taken out of a game for poor play. It is the only position that has no accountability in game.

Becht has never had a reputation of having a strong arm.

Who had 0-2 in the B10 and looking like a complete dumpster fire in the process on their bingo card? I didn't. I feel like a total fool for thinking this team could win 9 or possibly 10 games. More like lose 9 games.
The last two games convince me that Penn State would be far better off had they stayed with Franklin
