Hoffman Estates beats Fremd 7-6. Fremd missed a Field Goal and PAT.

Last week Palatine and Schaumburg were both shut out... not so much tonight as they combined for 95 points in a 62-33 Palatine victory.

Wow!

I chose Northwestern on TV instead of Palatine @ Schaumburg. All the talk of how “amazing” this teeny little stadium is makes me want to slam my head into a brick wall. I should’ve touched grass tonight.

But, but, but…. the students are STANDING!

Missed 2 field goals and and an extra point.
Had two touchdowns called back on penalties
Had two wide open touchdown passes dropped.
Fumbled inside the Hoffman 25
Gave up a 73-yard touchdown pass.

Hoffman had numerous motion and offside penalties
Hoffman rushed for 3 yards
But the Hoffman QB had his best game ever 12-of-14 for 220 yards and a touchdown.

And then Barrington drubs Conant. They look to be the odds on favorite to win the division now after starting 0-4. They are also still playing their 4th? QB as far as I know. What a weird year
