The announcers for this game must be paid advertisers for Northwestern.

The NW QB coach is Jerry Neuhsiel. He was also the OC for UCLA last year for the Penn State game.

Not sure why anyone was expecting anything different. I said the spread should have been NW -17, and I wasn’t kidding.

It’s heading toward being a lot worse than that.

Ummm--they lost to Tulane (by 20) and Nebraska while not beating anyone with a pulse other than debatably us. Their second best win was...Minnesota. I follow Northwestern far closer than anyone here (I think) and this team is infinitely better.

lol. At one point this season, I thought, “Michigan sucks this year. We actually have a good shot at beating them on the road.”

No chance. 5-7 with wins over Purdue and Maryland might be optimistic.

I think they have to. He can't be worse. At least he can see over the line.

Their options are talk good about NW, bad about PSU or say nothing.

While I would rather they take the third option, they get paid to talk.

The donor class that wanted Franklin out better come up with $40+m for next year. There is little to no talent on this roster

Would be great if we had a WR capable of battling for a contested ball--that wasn't a bad throw on the DPI (yes, slightly underthrown but not bad)

Well… the Penguins won, in any case.

On those deep balls he just needs to throw the ball as far as he can and let our fastest player run to it.

This Penn State team is just not very good. Keep the faith. Recruits and selective transfers needed. How well can they sell?
