Moon pies have one of the worst expectations for reality ratios on the planet. Iced cake with a fluffy marshmallow filling? There is zero reason that it should not be tasty, and yet it is not

I remember seeing the commercial for Moonlighting and made a point to watch it because I had just seen Bruce for the first time in a movie, I think it was Blind Date. Hilarious.

Then I remember being very confused a few years later when I found out this comic actor was going to be in an action movie... Then I and everyone else had our worlds rocked in the theater. There was no one better in his heyday.

Moon Pie collects all the out of date Moon Pies throughout the year and they throw them from the floats at the Mobile Al Mardis Gras parades. You haven’t lived until you’ve washed down a year old stale Moon Pie with your seventh beer.

There was a restaurant in the Delta that had a Mississippi Moon desert. It was a warmed up moon pie with a scoop of Luvell vanilla ice cream on it.
