Moon pies are nasty. Heating them up makes them a little more tolerable but the Little Debbie's Oatmeal Cream pie and Hostess Twinkies are junk food done right.
Probably had some of that Blue Chew stuff in it.

Solid airport move. My all time airport favorite (this was kind of before good beer became more available) was a Sam Adams in the fancy lager glass.

Who would stuff a whole moon pie in his mouth at lunch & eat it. It was the highlight of lunchtime for us cause the food sucked.
Moon pies have one of the worst expectations for reality ratios on the planet. Iced cake with a fluffy marshmallow filling? There is zero reason that it should not be tasty, and yet it is not
I remember seeing the commercial for Moonlighting and made a point to watch it because I had just seen Bruce for the first time in a movie, I think it was Blind Date. Hilarious.
Then I remember being very confused a few years later when I found out this comic actor was going to be in an action movie... Then I and everyone else had our worlds rocked in the theater. There was no one better in his heyday.

There was a restaurant in the Delta that had a Mississippi Moon desert. It was a warmed up moon pie with a scoop of Luvell vanilla ice cream on it.
Nope, made that mistake years ago when some fan at Game Day had a sign about Gus Malzhan or Chizik.
You gotta do a blue bugglegum snow cone or green apple snow cone for that to happen!!
