Just got back from a Florida vacation. Gotta say I like it back home better. Florida is overrated. People seem to hate tourist. It almost felt like i was in Chicago or something.

Get spoiled around here with the southern charm.
I’ve been to Florida many times just saying everything is so expensive now it’s hard to find spare money to vacation.

Did a Lisbon, Madrid and Barcelona trip right before the pandemic and it was a wonderful time. I’m glad I visited Madrid but wouldn’t return. I’d go back to Lisbon and Barcelona any time. It’s amazing the difference in the two Spanish cities. You think you are in two different countries. The people in Barcelona speak a different language and consider themselves Catalan residents. We were there during a huge 250,000 people protest for independence. It was a protest with no violence and was a huge party. Great place and Lisbon, Portugal was a jewel

Currently have a vacation home in Florida but selling it. There are always too many people there to fully enjoy yourself and relax. Go to the beach to relax (nope) 1000 other people there (on a Monday), go to your favorite restaurant (nope) 1.5 hour wait. I’ll eventually move down there full time but to a less touristy area.

Madrid the the Paris of Spain. Plaza's, winding streets, gardens and lamplight. I actually found it to be much more authentic than Barcelona, which is a giant tourist trap.

Got back from Spain a few months ago. Loved visiting seville and ronda in Southern region. If you are near barcelona go take a day trip to montserrat, you'll thank me later.

I agree that Madrid is more authentic Spanish than Barcelona and is why I said I was glad that I visited. Madrid was old world while Barcelona felt new world though that new world was rooted in art nouveau and Gaudi.

You can get it on the ESPN app if you have a sub. If the smart tv doesn't have the app, you can caste it from your phone to the tv. Or you can find an illegal stream.

Head to Ceuta and ask for Mohammed. He's going a big watch party going on.

Dear Fox Viewer and non-map user, Cueta is actually in Africa. Though it's a part of the Spanish Kingdom, it is an small, tiny strip of land on the African continent that Spain stole from Morocco. It's funny how Fox always leaves that bit of detail out of their coverage of the migrants there as they know their viewers are dumb as rocks and easily spooked by melanin.

It's like saying there's a Cuban migrant invasion of Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, and stating that the migrants are taking over America.

Florida is a cesspool. Hate it. Wife and kids love the beach. We can fly super cheap from where I live. Florida it is. But man, I'd rather spend a week in my recliner than on a beach in Florida. The sand. The crowds. The a$$holes. Brutal.

Man I don't know what us up with the a$$hole part but it's freaking true. Now i get if im a troll or whatever on here but in real life im just super chill mind my business have a good time type of guy.

But the people are so rude! Every time we went out to eat it's like the servers hated theor job and tourist. Frowned the whole time. People at the resort were rude. Customer service was terrible at this fancy place i stayed.

Beaches even with me waiting till mid September after school is back and holidays are over were so crowded im not sure how that is supposed to be relaxing. If you didit get up at six in the morning and get a spot good luck later in the day.

I guess maybe it's me getting older but it's about the same as most things these days. Like im almost positive I would rather watch a basketball game on my TV than to travel and spend money just for a 40 minute game. Some things just aren't worth it. But like you said...wife and kids love it so here we are lol.

Go to Toledo and Segovia if in Madrid. Seville is a must see and I really liked Cordoba.

I tried to get a vpn last month to watch UK Alabama while visiting Scotland. Didn’t work. I did find it on YouTube and watched it that way. It’s annoying cause the stream will get shutdown once or twice probably. Hope you enjoy your trip
