According to James Spann - tropical low developing near Texas coast is going to create lots of rain along the MS and AL coast, which usually cuts off the moisture flow further inland. That is why the forecast has changed in the last day or so

Official forecast is a 50% chance of rain after 1:00pm. It's not looking like near the impact now that it was two days ago. Definitely trending in the right direction if you want a mostly dry game.

I’m seeing 40% at 2:00 PM
Game should be getting close to being over by that time unless overtime or lots of penalties.

Thank God I just got a 20 minute downpour at my house. Most rain in 2 months. Forecast still looks good for Saturday evening & Sunday. Hope that holds.
