Two (2) doses of pentobarbital didn't kill Ms. Pike. They left her alive and "snoring." WTF, Tennessee!!
I'm a supporter of the death penalty in appropriate cases (yep, a liberal who favors capital punishment), but this case goes beyond botched. I don't think they should make another attempt here. I think that would very clearly step over the line in terms of the 8th Amendment ban on cruel and unusual punishment.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee said he had ordered a review of the incident after the inmate survived two doses of pentobarbital.
