I think the top 4 seeds win out from here on out except for the Millbrook and Rolesville OT game. If Millbrook wins they have a smooth path to the #1 seed in the East. If Rolesville wins that would open the door for AF to take the #1 seed. If Millbrok wins the top 4 seeds will probably be-Millbrook, AF, Hoggard, Rolesville. If Rolesville wins, it gets real tricky. I think they can jump Hoggard and Millbrook with their SOS but it will be very close. Hoggard may jump Millbrook as well. Probably be AF, Rolesville, Hoggard, Millbrook.
5-Broughton, 6- LR, 7-PC, 8-Laney, 9-CH, 10- Wakefield, 11-Enloe, 12-Apex

Have to take into account where Jordan & Pinecrest end up as well (east or west), but I think those top 4 are probably correct. Agree that Millbrook's SOS could play a factor, Heritage just isn't very good and Garner will probably end up around .500. Who knows what will happen with the Rolesville-Millbrook game, I've seen comments on social media from Millbrook people saying it's not going to happen but obviously that's just chatter

You are right about Graner. They are a really good team but may finish 5-5. RC is always a great non conf game but they are sitting at 1--4. Rolesville OWP actually went down after the RC game. If Millbrook and Rolesville end in a tie I think AF will get the #1 seed, then Millbrook, Hoggard, and Rolesville. The bottom half can take some turns over the next 5 weeks. Jordan and Pinecrest are sitting at #13 and #14 and them coming East will not change the top 4.
If I were Rolesville I would want to finish the game. With a win they could jump to a #2 seed and a loss will probably keep them at 4 where they sit right now so it doesn't hurt them.
Millbrook should want to finish this game to secure the #1 seed and home field advantage. There is more risk for Millbrook because if they lose they could drop all they way to #4 and hit the road week 3.

I think Richmond will bounce back in conference. Not sure what happened with the Scotland game, but the rest of their non-conference was against all 8A teams and scores are fairly close except the Rolesville game. From the HSOT article they were missing a handful of starters on Monday but we'll never how much of a difference that would have made

It will be interesting to see how it plays out, but I think after Friday it might not matter if Apex Friendship gets the #1 seed or not. Those were the two best teams in Wake County at Millbrook and obvisously Hoggard will have a say

It doesn't matter who is the best team. AF is 6-0 and their scd is very winnable the rest of the way. They finish up with the #21, #24, #30, #31 ranked 8A teams (out of 32 teams). They will be favored by a lot in all 4 remaining games. If they go 10-0 they will probably be the #1 seed unless Millbrook finishes their game with Rolesville with a win.
AF SOS is #28 out of 32 teams, after their final four games it will be even lower. Their win over Jordan was huge for them.

Completely agree they will probably get the #1 seed if they win out. I'm just saying I think Millbrook and Rolesville both would beat them either home or away

Yes, I agree too. The RPI system needs some adjustments. Their current system gives 40% to each team's winning percentage, 40% to their opponent winning percentage and 20% to their opponent opponents winning percentage. I personally would like to see the human element added. Take the RPI and then apply some common sense adjustments. The highest rated team AF will have played is Jordan at around #70 among all classes. Millbrook will have played 5 teams rated around #70 or higher. If AF is 10-0 and Millbrook is 9-1 or 9-0-1 they would better deserve the #1 seed. Same could be argued for Hoggard and Rolesville. Also look at teams that are playing a lot of smaller schools and have good winning percentages. That should be a factor too.

Green Hope can be in the mix too, for a top 4 seed. They have Jordan tonight and they are at least a 2 TD underdog. If GH beats Jordan they will be favored against Willow Sp and Green Hope. The Panther Cr game will be a toss up. Looks like GH defense is pretty good and may keep them in the game tonight. If GH wins out they will be the 3 seed.

Green Hope played AF extremely close so it’s possible they beat Jordan

Millbrook is locked in at #1. If all games involving AF, Hoggard and GL and their opponents go as planned I see Hoggard jumping GL at #3. Hoggard will also be very close to jumping AF even with their 10-0 record. Here is where I think the RPI will be and not where it is currently.

5) Rolesville
6) Jordan
7) LR
8)Laney
9) Broughton
10) PC
11) Wakefield
12) Enloe
