These girls were on a school bus. The bus had stopped to let students off, then the driver had a medical emergency, slumped over and his foot engaged the gas pedal, resulting in bus moving with driver passed out.
Two Senior girls cooly & calmly jumped into action:
- Pressed down on the brake to stop the bus
-Engaged the emergency brake to ensure stoppage
-Called bus dispatch on the bus radio to report the incident
-checked the driver's pulse/respiration to report to medical personnel (they learned this in their HS Health Sciences class)
All around great effort by those two young ladies!
