I may take some flak for this, but I really haven’t seen anything definitive that we’re so much better than them. We both have 2 easy wins over cupcakes and both got thrashed by Alabama with very similar scores. Our resume is currently a little better by having that extra win over A&M while they have a close loss to Mississippi State, but State arguably looks like the better of those two opponents so far if you ignore preseason rankings. Definitely feels like it should be a game we’re capable of winning, but a close line slightly favoring the home team doesn’t seem crazy to me given what both teams have shown so far.
Take a break from posting.

We really need this one, they're reeling and we have a lot of really tough opponents still looming. We may need to get 3 SEC road wins this year to make a bowl. We could be 4-1 to make it to 6-6. But I'm still really hoping for more.

Hell, we've lost to Vandy 3 or 4 times in a row in Commonwealth. Anything Stein does is an improvement over stoops.
This is just more exaggeration to make a point without actually looking up any facts. We have lost twice in a row at home to Vandy after winning four in a row at Commonwealth. We also have gone 4-2 at Vandy in that same time frame.

You literally asked another person in the post directly above if they were a "moron". Then you don't like it if someone calls you a "U6 fan"....Make it make sense...
Even a moron is better than being called a U6 fan. There is nothing worse to be called than that, does that make sense?

Man. That's a long time to be stupid
Huh, I didn't know it was stupid to expect UK to beat a dumpster fire program, that is out classed. So I guess every single fan that was upset when Stoops lost to USC is stupid? We should expect to lose to them? I don't understand?

"If UK loses to South Carolina, then I am afraid Stein is no better than past UK coaches."

Everyone is trying to tell you this is a stupid comment but you don't seem to get it. I think I know why.

Ok, I get it now, Stein gets a pass if he loses to South Carolina, while Stoops got called out for it, even though this UK team this year is better than Stoops teams when he lost to them. I get it now.

Seems the SC Stewart loss has lowered the Vegas spread another point to -2.5. Now just kick 3-4 more starters off, Beams.

Kid, I have been a UK fan since the late 80's. You sir are a certified fool, if you don't think a better UK team losing to a dumpster fire South Carolina team is not 100% on the coach.
Just interested to know why you feel Kentucky has better talent? South Carolina is and has been ahead of us in recruiting rankings most years. They have a DE that was ranked best DE recruit in the country. Sellers was ranked highly and played immediately. We have no DEs. Our QB lost every competition he was in till he got here. Had to portal to play.
Please expand on why you believe we have better talent?

Kentucky's classes are
listed at 32, 25, 29 and 60.

Correct. It's year 1 under stein you ding dong. He gets a pass. On top of that USC jr has more talent than KY at this point. Never mind the fact that we are the underdog on the road. We aren't supposed to win this game.

Dude put down the shovel and step away from the hole.

I like our chances but it will be a very tough game and I will not be shocked if we lose. Our defense will need to step up as I don't see this as a high scoring affair. Sellers has been a problem for us in the past but that was under a different DC. I think making Sellers beat you with his arm is critical. Finally SC has eaten us alive with pass rush last 2 years. Losing their best pass rushers is a big plus.

I mean Vegas is pretty accurate with these things.

If they are favored by that, we are prob seen as near even to them on a neutral field.

People can agree or disagree with that but it's more than likely to be accurate.
It might be too early in the season to make accurate lines, especially with the two teams in question here.
UK has a new team and a new coach, South Carolina has bigtime lockeroom problems, so that line could end up being way off.
Heck, surely aTm was a heavy favorite over us and we destroyed them on their own field.
But, there's no way I would bet this game, I wouldn't be surprised by any outcome.

We will learn a lot about Minchey from this game. ESPN ranks him as one of the worst QB in the SEC (14th out of 16 I think) and 55 out 68 nationally with a QBR of only 33.

I think he's better than that - but I'm expecting a war at SCAR. I expect it to be quite a bit more difficult than TAMU. It's going to get nasty, this is a swing game for both programs.

And yes, we are supposed to lose this game. On paper at least - they have much more talent than Kentucky.

I agree this will be a very tough game. South Carolina with Beemer is where UK was at last year with Stoops. If UK can have a fast start and get the fans upset and booing and turning on Beemer, then I think they can win comfortably. If SC has some success early UK will be in a dog fight all game long. The Cocks are very capable of winning this game especially at home. I think a fast start by UK is their best bet for a W in South Carolina.

Imagine if Kentucky football got glazed like scar does every off season.

Interesting tho. Beamer was the guy. And him leaving after this year will prolly put Carolina in the cellar for the next 3 years.

South Carolina and Oklahoma should get booted out of the league.

South Carolina fits better in the ACC. Just barely mediocrity
We need teams like them. They are programs we can actually beat on a yearly basis. We need wins with the Gauntlet that is weekly SEC football.

I feel like we are the better team but your logic is spot on and it’s probably why we are the underdog right now. Vegas is usually pretty good at making lines.
