Lots of love to go around. Great concentration by DJV and Ostrenga. Jackson’s return. Punting was key to winning, too.

I’d give it to Hank this week. What can Brown do for you?
Vanderzee.
Special mention to Diaz's **** talking drawing the late hit to extend the winning drive.

PoG is Michigan Defender that couldn’t get across LOS with 2 seconds left.
The time-out Iowa needed.

Great question Desi… Rock Rapids Reece is my call
perhaps everitt and jackson also deserve consideration.
anytime several pog options are in play complementary football likely happened

Too many to count and name. Too many big plays
The INT at the 2 yard line probably saved points. The hawk who blitzed and deflected a pass that might have led Mich to get a first down late in the game.
Brown, awesome. The OLine etc etc. the defense played really tough in the 2nd half especially
Poor Jackson's 99 yard KO return has gotten lost in the the final play hoopla. Sorry # 22 great return, you need more plays from scrimmage man...

QB Hank Brown had 35 passing attempts and 21 completions for 227 yards.
which included 2 TD passes and no interception
He is just getting started and will improve each week, He was the player
of the game in the miracle win over Michigan

RVZ should be the 1st target in the red zone. His size, length, hands and his leaping ability and ability to high point the ball are a yuge advantage.
On that last drive, the whole offense did a great job. To go 91 yards, with 1 time out, in the big house was amazing. Hank made a perfect throw and RVZ ran a great route, got his foot/feet in and shield the defender with his body. Ostrenga made a huge catch on his tipped pass to save the game. The OL protected Hank and kept the ball moving down field. On the play they had the late hit on Diaz, Hank got destroyed. When the camera showed his face, I told my son, he doesn't look too good, but he collected himself and delivered. There were a couple almost picks and it felt like we were destined to win. I'm very proud of our Iowa Hawkeyes!
I’m saying Brown for his composure during that last drive. The way he dropped back and threw the ball on the game winner was so calm and cool. Reminded me of the way Stanzi did it on the throw to McNutt at MSU in 2009.
Maybe first time I agree with you.
Hank-RVZ wouldn't have happened if Ostrenga hadn't made his great play. Hank got rocked two plays before he threw a perfect back shoulder. And yes, props to KF for putting all the pieces together and modeling patience and toughness.
